Yeah!! I have finished all 12 of the bridesmaid skirts and the 4 flowergirl dresses!! Wondering if I have learned my lesson to not take on so much during the summer!! Summer came and went and I only spent 2 days outside. What a waste.
I have finished the embroidering part of the quilting project I am doing for The Granite Mountain Hotshots who lost their lives on June 30th in Prescott, AZ. As I wait to be assigned a swap partner, I have been sewing Traditional East Indian Bridesmaid Skirts. There are 14 of them. I have finished 12. The skirts have been picked up so the skirts could be mailed all over the world. I also have 4 flowergirl dresses to make that have vertical ruffles on them. The dresses take longer to make than the skirts.

I just signed up for Shawnee's Favorite Things Swap. I am so excited!! It has been too long since the last swap!!
I wonder who my partner will be this time around!! Someone fun I am sure!!
Have to go back to my sewing now, I am making fourteen Indian Wedding Bridesmaid Skirts and four flowergirls with lengthwise ruffles down the skirts!! Very tedious, but beautiful.
I will post pictures soon!
Ciao!!
