Wow, I can't believe it has been so long since I wrote on my blog! I have been very busy, but that is no excuse!! Here is what I have been working on, and finished!! The first picture is a Memory Quilt for Andrew Zajac, a Fire fighter who lost his life a couple weeks ago in Washington State. His parents and brother live in the Chicago Area. The Beginnings of 2015!!

So it is 2015, time to start anew in creating garments for my grandkids and aprons for the swaps I hope to participate in, and work diligently on the felt ornaments I am making!!

Dieting, or should I say a life style change in the way I look at food is in order, with shedding about 50 lbs, being on the agenda. Hoping to loose about 1 - 2 lbs a week. I am keeping a journal on all the food I am consuming, hoping that will help me.

Running off to my Grandkids last Basketball games this morning, and then getting started on those ornaments I mentioned. I will take pictures of my progress, hoping they will turn out really nice.

There is also a Hungarian Doll that I would like to copy if I can do it!! A Little Red Riding Hood/Grandma/Big Bad Wolf Doll. This project will be very challenging!! Something I can do if I am not continuously being interrupted...  We will see!!

                   !. Ornaments - ongoing project
                   2. Doll project - 1st on the list
                    3. Garments for grandkids - measure first, shop for fabric, then make!!

Let's see how January schedule works!!
